I want To Fit The Sliding Hinge Kit

A sliding hinge kit allows you to have a door in front of your fridge door, allowing BOTH to open at same time.
Remember to make sure you have installed the fridge correctly if you are adding door in front, ventilation is extremely important.

Unit has become noisy
ANSWER
These have just one real moving part, an inner fan, if unit has become over noisy it will just be the small inner fan. It is located inside unit and is pretty easy to swap over.

Unit has stopped cooling
ANSWER
If unit has stopped cooling there are 4 x things that could cause it;
1. Inner fan faulty, part number BCH48-SS-FAN-INNER, price $59, fill in below to arrange.
2. If unit runs but still no chill, the cooling module chip has failed, this is small ceramic chip that can fail over time, especially if unit is installed incorrectly. Part number BCH48-SS-COOLING-MODULE, price $69, fill in below to arrange.
3. Unit doesn't seem to come on at all, this means PCB board has failed,. Part number BCH48-SS-PCB, price is $79, fill in below to arrange.
4. On the inside of fridge there is a small push 'button' that activates when door closes, this actually turns OFF light and allows unit to turn ON. Sometimes over time the door foaming may change in structure and it can shrink a few mm, this then causes the inner door area that activates switch not be able to touch the switch, hence unit wont come on. You can check this by opening door and using your finger to push it in, then you can see if it is activating as pushing it in means unit will come ON. The inner door may NOT be touching this button. Unit has stopped cooling or is not cooling enough
ANSWER
-Check that the temperature around the fridge is 25 degrees or under.
-Check ventilation around the fridge. You need approximately 20mm at sides and top with 100mm at the rear.
-If the fridge is in a cupboard, you need to have ventilation which we call the chimney effect, You need a vent for fresh air to come in from the bottom of the cupboard and a vent for hot air to escape from the top.
-Check inner fan is going and that there is NO ice build up on the inner rear wall
-Check temperature gauge. 5 being the coldest
